Reliable, gripping brakes and extremely resilient tires with a large volume offer a plus in safety, as does the balanced geometry and stiffness of the frames. Comfort and a high degree of suitability for everyday use are provided by luggage racks suitable for panniers, ergonomic grips and saddles as well as balanced damping via suspension fork and, in some cases, additional rear shock absorption.
